I have been a licensed attorney for over 20 years. I graduated from The University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in political science in 1995. I earned my law degree from The University of Alabama School of Law in 1998. I moved to Texas right after I graduated from law school. I fell in love with the state, and I have been here ever since.  During my years in private practice, I represented a countless number of injured workers and personal injury clients in cases involving not only bodily injuries, but also occupational diseases, third-party cases, automobile wrecks, slip and falls, and catastrophic injuries. As an Administrative Law Judge for sixteen years, I presided over thousands of workers’ compensation cases involving a diverse range of injuries and accidents. Throughout my years of serving the public I have always been friendly, respectful, patient, diligent, and a good listener. I obtained my certification as a civil and family law mediator in 2023. As an attorney and former judge, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to my role as a civil and family law mediator.
